A professional signature skateboard from a freestyle skateboarding company bears the name of Keith Butterfield, the first sergeant for Headquarters and Support Company, 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 22nd Naval Construction Regiment. Butterfield left behind his skateboarding career to start a family and pursue a career in the Marine Corps. Twenty-four years later and a half world away from the sandy beaches of California, Butterfield is honing his craft in the dry sand of Iraq. (Photo by Cpl. Tyler B. Barstow)
