After a 24-year break from the sport, Butterfield has picked up his board again and has already been sponsored by several freestyle skateboarding companies. Butterfield took a break from the sport to start a family and pursue a career in the Corps. ?I knew the Marine Corps would be there for me and my family as well,? said Butterfield, whose own father served during the Vietnam conflict.
