AT-TAQADDUM, Iraq (July 23, 2008) – “Comedy Central’s” Scott Kennedy, a stand-up comedian from Lobbock, Texas, reads a humorous note as part of his act today at Camp Taqaddum. Kennedy, along with two other comedians, Kenny Kane and Ron Morey, are touring Iraq, to entertain service members. “I wanted to put together a show with two other comedians for the smaller (forward operating bases) and (combat outposts),” said Kennedy. “We know entertainment is slim out here, and we wanted to change that.” After the show, the comedians shook hands, posed for photos and signed autographs.
