Belleville, company gunnery sergeant, Headquarters and Service Company, 1st Marine Logistics Group and Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Brenda S. Dwiggins, lead petty officer for 1st MLG mainside chapel, greet an Iraqi Police member and kids here during a cooperative medical engagement, July 31. Both went trailer-to-trailer encouraging residences to participate in the engagement. The purpose of the CME was to increase the quality of life for residents in Trailer Town and to further develop and improve relationships with the locals. Stuffed animals, toys and ice pops were handed out to the children. Iraqi Police, along with Marines with Bravo Battery, 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, provided security for the mission. Sixty-five Iraqis were seen during the visit, 55 percent of those patients were pediatric, 35 percent were adult males and 10 percent were adult females.
