RAMADI, Iraq (August 29, 2008) – Marines with Combat Logistics Company 51, Combat Logistics Battalion 5, 1st Marine Logistics Group, use a Tractor, Rubber tired, Articulate steering, Multi-purpose vehicle to pick up “Texas” barriers at Combat Outpost Jumayiah so they can be transported to al-Sora. Service members worked from the COPs to provide additional safety and support for the Iraqi people. The platoon sized bases were being demilitarized and consolidated with the larger bases outside the cities in order to transfer security of al-Anbar Province to the Iraqi Civilian Authority and the Iraqi Security Forces.
