Afghan locals ride a mo-ped on a newly-repaired road as Marines with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) patrol in Marjah, Afghanistan, June 4. These engineers improved the road, dubbed 'Route Marcie,' to make it easier and safer for Marines and Afghans to travel through Helmand province. This is one of many route repairing missions 9th ESB will complete during their deployment.
