Cargo, including food and water, is dropped out of a C-17 aircraft during a night drop in southern Helmand province, Jan. 5. The cargo was prepared by Marines of Air Delivery Platoon, Headquarters and Service Company, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) and successfully delivered to the Marines and sailors of 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division (Forward).
