Prior to leaving the wire, Sgt. Robert Torres, 1st section leader with General Support Security Platoon, Headquarters and Service Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 3, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) briefs the platoon before attempting to recover an immobilized mine resistant ambush protected vehicle in Trek Nawa, Afghanistan, Feb. 25, 2011. The vehicle became stuck after a portion of the road it was travelling on gave out. The recovery was in support of 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment.
