Shawn Davis, security team, Engineer Support Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) directs traffic during a road improvement project in Helmand province Feb. 16. The security team provides safety for convoys traveling from point A to point B and for engineer operations at fixed locations throughout Helmand province. In addition, the team is responsible for driving the security trucks, communications between vehicles and manning the crew-served weapons.
