Petty Officer 3rd Class Joshua Stallings, a corpsman with 3rd Platoon, Motor Transport Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), provides medical care and advice to the Marines of his platoon currently deployed to Helmand province, Afghanistan. “It’s an important job,” said Stallings, 23, a Los Angeles native. “I need to be here for [my Marines] no matter what. It’s my job to take care of them and keep them safe.”
