Using a compactor, a heavy equipment operator with Support Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) creates a hardball road outside of Forward Operating Base Geronimo, March 23. Marines lay down gravel, add water and compact the road. The process creates a smooth surface similar to roads in America.
