Marines and sailors with 2nd Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) listen to Brig. Gen. John Broadmeadow, (center), 1st MLG (Fwd) Commanding General at the EOD compound on Camp Leatherneck, April 24. Brig. Gen. Broadmeadow stopped by the EOD compound to thank the Marines and congratulate them on a successful deployment. During their tour, the company completed more than 2,800 total responses, responded to 740 IED calls and neutralized over 1,000 IEDs. Additionally, the company turned in more than 1,500 bags of evidence for further exploitation and trained nearly 10,000 personnel.
