Gunnery Sergeant Jason T. Lamm Senior Enlisted Advisor, Combat Logistics Company 16

A native of Jerome, Idaho and graduating from Jerome High School in 2001 Gunnery Sergeant Lamm joined the Marine Corps March 24th, 2003. Upon graduation of Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, CA, he reported to Marine Combat Training in Camp Pendleton, CA. Upon Graduating he then reported to Basic Engineer Equipment Operator School, Fort Leonard Wood, MO for MOS as a 1345, Heavy Equipment Operator.  Upon graduation, he was assigned to Brigade Service Support Group 1 (BSSG) Landing Support Company (LS), Camp Pendleton, CA for duty as a Heavy Equipment Operator, holding billets as, Dispatcher, Quality Control, and SL-3 NCO. During this assignment, he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) to Kuwaiti, as part of a Port Operations Group, In January of ‘04, and again to Kuwaiti as part of an Air field Arrival and Departure Group, In August of ‘04. Staff Sergeant Lamm was promoted to Lance Corporal through Corporal while assigned with BSSG-1 LS Co.

In January '06, Corporal Lamm was transferred to I Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEF) in Camp Pendleton, CA and deployed to Habbaniya, Iraq in support of OIF as a Military Transition Team (MTT) Advisor for the 1st Iraqi Army Division. During his time at I MEF, Corporal Lamm was Promoted to Sergeant and assigned as the Engineer, Motor Transport and Bomb Disposal, assistant Advisor.
  
In February '07, Sergeant Lamm was transferred to Combat Logistics Battalion (CLB) 1, Camp Pendleton, CA. During his time with CLB 1, Sergeant Lamm was assigned as the Lot Forman.
   
April '07 Sergeant Lamm was transferred to the Mountain Warfare Training Center (MWTC), Bridgeport, CA. During his time with MWTC Sergeant Lamm held billets as Platoon Sergeant and Heavy Equipment Dispatch.
    
In August '10 Sergeant Lamm was transferred to Recruiting Station, Salt Lake City, UT Recruiting Substation Boise, ID Permanent Contact Station Twin Falls, ID for duties as a Canvasing Recruiter. During this time Sergeant Lamm was promoted to Staff Sergeant. 
 
In July '13 Staff Sergeant Lamm was transferred to 7th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB) Camp Pendleton, CA. During his time at 7th ESB, Staff Sergeant Lamm was assigned as the Heavy Equipment Operations Chief and Commodities Chief. 

In April '14 Staff Sergeant Lamm was transferred to 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, Camp Pendleton, CA. Where he served as the Heavy Equipment Operations Chief.

In July '16 Staff Sergeant Lamm was transferred to Combat Logistics Company 16 where he is currently serving as the Company Gunnery Sergeant. In July of 2017 Staff Sergeant Lamm was promoted to Gunnery Sergeant.    

Gunnery Sergeant Lamm's personal awards consist of the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with combat "V" and one gold star in lieu of second award and Combat Action Ribbon.

Gunnery Sergeant Lamm is married to Arin Lamm of Jerome, Idaho. Together they have one Son Hunter and one Daughter Jasie.
