Dear Marines, Sailors, and Family Members,

I am so excited to welcome you to the CLB-7 family and the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California. One of the best parts of my job is getting the opportunity to meet so many new and wonderful people.

The Unit, Personal, and Family Readiness Program is the Commanding Officer’s program and a joint effort between CLB-7’s command team and the incredible resources of Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS). Personal and family readiness leads to unit readiness. Making sure your family is ready for the unique challenges of the military lifestyle is just as important as the Marines’ and Sailors’ individual, equipment, and combat readiness.

As your Deployment Readiness Coordinator (DRC), I am here to provide you with official communication from the Commanding Officer of CLB-7. This is especially important during deployments, but also valuable when the service members are home. I am also here to provide you with information and referrals relating to the many services and resources available to you and your family members. In addition, I have information on the many happenings in the local community. My door is always open to you, no matter what the issue. If I cannot help you, I will point you in the right direction to a resource that can.

Our Family Readiness Program would not thrive without the help and support of our fantastic volunteers. If you would like to volunteer with the Family Readiness Program, no matter how small the commitment, please contact me!

I invite you to come and visit me so we can get to know each other better. Again, welcome to the CLB-7 family!

Please make sure your Marine puts their family contacts into MOL under the personal contact tab, then family readiness. In addition, we have a Facebook page that you can find by searching Combat Logistics Battalion 7. Please “like” our page!

Sincerely,
Keeter Kallam
